The PHYSICS consortium cordially invites you to its pilot workshop with the topic “Presentation and usage of the project outputs by external communities”, which is aimed at showcasing the three pilot applications of the PHYSICS project.
The PHYSICS project focuses on the implementation of Function as a Service (FaaS) in serverless computing, which emphasizes the development of individual functions or business logic, and is scalable and efficient. This methodology is immediately scalable, making capacity planning easy, and can perform functions in milliseconds, making it ideal for creating microservices.
The PHYSICS project has identified three pilot partners from key industries: Healthcare, Agriculture, and Manufacturing. These sectors have increasing needs for flexibility, scalability, efficiency, and better resource allocation, making them critical for FaaS deployment.
The pilot workshop aims to present the project’s outputs to external communities and demonstrate how they can be utilized. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness the implementation of the FaaS model in each pilot application and learn about the project’s methodology, outcomes, and future plans.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- 15-15.15 PHYSICS project introduction
- 15.15-16.00 How to use PHYSICS in different domains
- 16.00-16.30 Conclusion and Q&A
